In a new preprint, scientists at the Centre for Biodiversity Genomics benchmarked leading COI metabarcoding pipelines against a ground-truth dataset of more than 11,000 individually DNA-barcoded specimens, and highlighted spcfy for particularly accurate β-diversity estimates and as fast and user-friendly.
